Srinagar Jun10 (KNO) : Urging upon the Govt to consider regularization of ITI Instructors, Congress General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah today expressed serious concern over the attitude of the Govt towards the Instructors, saying that the instructors have been performing their legitimate duties since decades, they deserve to be regularized, at right earnest.

In a Statement issued today, Congress General Secretary described the attitude of the Govt as lackadaisical and unfortunate, saying that the instructors have been appointed on academic arrangements since 2005 on merit basis against clear vacancies of budgetary posts, besides they have been performing the legitimate duties without any break since decades, but despite being committed to their responsibilities, their services were not regularized, The regularization process of the instructors, as reported, was under consideration of the Govt, but this is unfortunate that no decision to this effect has been taken so far which amounts to destroying their future, Hilal Ahmad Shah added and urged upon the Govt to come out with regularization policy for the instructors to ensure that their future is secured.

There was strong feeling among the instructors that Govt is playing with their future by not providing them the service benefits, which need to be corrected and addressed, at the earliest, he said.
